Start with a beat-up brushed basher. Race it, wager on it, and spend your winnings on real parts — brushless motors, LiPo packs, tire compounds, oil-filled shocks. Every upgrade is a part you could actually buy, and every mistake is one a real RC racer makes. Gear it too tall and you will cook the motor. Bolt slicks on a dirt track and you will spin.

Real numbers under the hood

Top speed is computed from motor kV × pack voltage, divided by your final drive ratio, times tire circumference. Change your pinion gear and watch the math move.

Consequences, not lectures

Motor temperature, ESC amp limits and LiPo low-voltage cutoff are all simulated. Ignore them and your race ends on the side of the track.

Tuning is free

Camber, toe, ride height, gear ratio and gyro gain cost nothing. A well-tuned cheap car beats a badly-tuned expensive one — exactly like the real hobby.
